Twelve voices. One calling. Formed in 2021 out of a season of seeking, Undivided Purpose is a gospel ensemble united across churches and bound by a shared mission — to proclaim the Gospel and glorify God through music.
Their Story
Born from
>Undivided Purpose was born in 2021, shaped by the uncertainty of the global pandemic and grounded in a clear calling to uplift the Name of the Lord. The journey began in 2020 when Ceanan Ryan wrote the song Dit is Jou Porsie. Due to restrictions at the time, recording was delayed — eventually leading to the gathering of a small group of vocalists to bring the song to life.
What started as a once-off collaboration under the name Porsie soon grew into something far greater. In 2023, after a season of prayer and seeking direction, the group received the name Undivided Purpose — known in Afrikaans as Onverdeelde Doel.
Today the collective consists of 12 members — vocalists and musicians — forming a dynamic ensemble that carries both musical excellence and spiritual depth. Their sound is rooted in gospel worship, marked by unity, passion, and a clear sense of purpose.
